Inner Circle accompaniment: Little can be written about azrael and his comrades Ezekiel, asmodai that is not already known Azrael is one of the Dark Angels greatest leaders in history. He is accompanying a select group from third company into the eye of terror, pursuing a prize too great to give up fully 20 fallen in one place. He considers this matter of greatest importance and has assigned the chapters best to the assignment, including Matthias, the Emperors Champion. Chapter Master Azrael Standard equipment: Deathwing, Sword of Secrets, Lion helm, frag and crack grenades, bolter/plasma gun and combi weapon. Emperors Champion Matthias: Standard equipment: Artificier armor, Black sword, iron halo, purity seals, master crafted bolt pistol, terminator honors. Brother Bethor: Standard bearer of the 3rd company, carries all the holy battle banners. Earned this honor for rallying his squad in the face of a devastating ork attack in segmentum obscurras, and counter attacking to victory, landing the deathblow on an ork warboss himself. His actions saved several thousand civilians who would not have escaped but for his efforts. Standard equipment: Deathwing, Purity seals, Deathwing, master crafted bolt pistol. Battle standard. Chief Librarian Ezekiel Standard equipment: Book of Salvation, Bionics, Force Sword, Psychic hood, bolt pistol, frag and crack grenades. Interogator Chaplain Asmodai Standard equipment: Power sword, Rosarius, blades of reason. |
Squad Adamant, 2nd squad 3rd company: 10 man tactical squad, led by veteran sergeant cable. adamant is 3rd companies most reliable and resolute squad, they have never taken one step back on the battlefield until the fight is won. They serve as the anchor for any major offensive maneuver on the field, and can be counted on not to deviate from his assignment. Despite its reliability, survival rates of the squad are about equal to those of assault troopers. Despite this adamant squad is never short of volunteers as cable is a charismatic and inspiring leader's. |
Squad hellfire, 1st squad 3rd company: 10 man tactical squad, led by veteran sergeant vallon. 3rd companies most experienced and effective squad. They have fought every enemy the imperium has to offer in almost every environment imaginable. They refuse to cosmetically repair their armor until vallon is either promoted or killed, for they feel that the battle scars on their armor are a tribute to vallon's heroism and leadership. Being inducted into hellfire squad is the greatest honor that can be achieved in 3rd company. |
Squad tempest, 7th squad 3rd company Ten man assault squad, split into two groups of five each. Squad tempest is actually composed of deathwing inititiates who were temporarily re-assigned to 3rd company to serve in the crucial assault role. When the fallen are encountered the chances of hand to hand combat are extremely high, and Azrael and Bethor agreed they must take the absolute best assault troopers available, even those accustomed to terminator armor. The squad is led by Veteran sergeant Michael, assisted by veteran sergeant proximo when the squad is split in two. They are masterful fighters and retain their deathwing robes, despite their assault trooper status. |
Dreadnought Uriel Venerable dreadnought of the 3rd company. High point of Uriels achievements was the single handed defeat of a beserker chaos dreadnought which saved the flank of Strike Force Broadsword. Battling in full view of SGM Azrael, Uriel ripped the enemy apart, bing grievously wounded in the process. |
