Strike Force Obadiah Patrolling the eastern fringes of the human galaxy are many forces of the imperium. Much feared amongst them is is a Dark Angel strike force under the command o Grandmaster Obadiah. A multi faceted force consisting of elements from all the different companies, SF Obadiah has been instrumental in tracking and destroying a wide variety of enemy threats, namely forces belonging to the metallic warriors of Necrontyr, the recently expanding Tau empire, the slaver-pirates of Dark Eldar and the callous Iron Warriors. Such is their reputation that many of the enemy simply wilt away at the merest hint of the strike force. |
Grandmaster Obadiah is the strategic genius behind the ventures of the strike force. Originally despatched to the eastern fringes to track down a suspected lead to the fallen, his accomplishment against the enemy during this time resulted in his strike force being on semi permanent deployment. He is accompanied in this mission by Master of Deathwing Leviticus, who along with Deathwing Squad Ezra forms the mailed fist of the force. Providing the force with deep strike capability and always being at the cutting edge of the action Leviticus and Squad Ezra have made a name for themselves by boarding and destroying two of the piratical eldar's strike vessels during their adventures. Squad Ezra in particular hte the hordes of the Necrontyr and have sworn never to allow any of their abominations to return from the dead, their lightning claws a testatment to their resolve. |
Grandmaster of Ravenwing Nehamiah Unusually for such a small detachment, this force contains three commanders. Grandmaster Nehamiah and his large detachment of Ravenwing were incorporated in to strike force Obadiah mainly due to the nature of their initial assignment, that of tracking a fallen brethren. The larg size of the detachment reflects the distance from other friendly forces at which they would be operating. The grandmaster takes to the field on his bike or on his venered landspeeder depending on the tactical situation. His accomplishments have been so feared that the mere presence of his archaic landspeeder seems to deter enemy assaults. |

Command Squad Nehamiah When Nehamiah chooses to lead the Ravenwing units mounted on his personal bike, squad Malachi acts as his bodyguard. This includes a fully equipped techmarine and apothecary and his own personal battle standard. The role is taken over by Dark Proverb landspeeder squadron when he deploys in his command landspeeder. |
